A new and up coming jewelry designer, Liza Baiza, is remarkable. A little about this designer, Liza Baiza is an accomplished poet, artist and an avid reader. Born and raised in Cambridge, MA, she grew up surrounded by cultural influence. She moved to California in 2006 and began jewelry making as a hobby. She’s half Irish & Honduran and likes to explore the colors and boldness of both cultures. She uses her poetic expression to give life to her pieces and enjoys creating unique and stylish jewelry for the fashionistas of the world.
Why did she start making and designing jewelry? To quote Liza, “I moved to California in 2006 and not knowing anyone I decided to take a few classes at a local bead shop. After my second class I found myself spending my weekends engulfed in my new hobby. After a while I found myself staring at people's jewelry to see how it was made, then sketching designs on napkins in coffee shops. I realized that I love designing, and that I wanted to start sharing my jewelry with others who enjoy a unique and creative design.”
She wanted to tell thepublic a little about her company in general, “My company is very new. Jewelry by LizaBaiza. I hope to grow my business in the next year from the web realm to begin selling in boutiques and shops, with hopes of someday owning a shop of my own.”
This blogger asked Liza if there is a sale coming up or something she wanted the public to know. She stated, “No sales coming up- but I promise to grow my inventory by 3 pieces each week. I also take requests. If there is a specific idea that someone wants to see come to fruition... send me an email @ lbaiz@aol.com and I will send a quote for the reproduction. I will be working with soughtering and metals in the fall, so readers can expect to see some hot new items then.” She also wanted me to tell all of you, readers, “I will offer readers free shippping with mention of the article on two items or more until the end of August.” Well, there you have it.
